If you are in the Atlanta Metro area you likely got a solicitation from the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation (SNEF) – if not you will get one. I have received several questions about this, so I want to share with everyone my thoughts. Annually SNEF is looking for a donation of $500 or $1,000 for this board, but I think it is $500 – you can pay monthly. The lunch is free. You may restrict the donation to Theta Kappa, like I have, which I would suggest. That is not their first preference, but they accept it. The luncheon and the group is a great networking opportunity and it is fun – I wholeheartedly recommend it! You will see many recognizable faces and meet some new ones. We ask that all Honorary Board members:- Pledge $500 or more annually, raised or personally contributed
- Commit membership to the Honorary Board for a minimum of 3 years
- Help recruit other alumni to become Honorary Board members
- Allow the Foundation to use your name in printed/electronic materials
