Sigma Nu - Theta Kappa

Sigma Nu Fraternity, Theta Kappa Chapter's annual signature alumni event, Homecoming at GSU, is one you will always remember. We welcome all our alumni, spouses, collegiates, and friends of the chapter to celebrate and enjoy Georgia Southern Homecoming with us. We usually start on Wednesday or Thursday, some even come down for the entire week, and end on Sunday, but everyone is welcome to come down (or up) for one day, two days, three days or more – we want you to come enjoy our brotherhood and life-long friendships as well as a great time and football. The Theta Kappa Chapter, Theta Kappa Alumni Chapter, and our alumni leadership decided to pick a set weekend for Homecoming (1st Saturday Home Game in October is our goal) each year because Georgia Southern lags in its decision (they surprised us in 2025) when Homecoming is each year. Our 2025 SNTK Homecoming/Alumni Weekend is Oct. 17-19, which is GSU's Homecoming date as well. It’s all good!

 

We have decided to try to keep Homecoming 2025 simple, but the planning has just started. Our goal is to get this important tradition reenergized, so our focus is on Friday morning Golf, Friday Evening Reception at Eagle Creek Brewing, a Saturday Tailgate with some special activities, and ample time to reconnect with others. The Eagles kickoff against the Panthers of Georgia State at 7:00 pm at Paulson Stadium. We have football tickets and tickets for the “Beer Garden” at the stadium available.

 

Based on our schedule and the 7:00 pm kick-off on Saturday, we have decided to go lighter on the late evening activities allowing members to congregate where they want. We have a full day Saturday and we look forward to seeing everyone this weekend. The lighter scheduling will allow those who want to only come in for the day to do so and not miss anything major. Alumni Meeting at 12:00 pm, Picture at 1:00 pm, and Tailgate BBQ Lunch at 1:05 pm.

If you need tickets for Homecoming 2025 or our 6 Home Games, we can get you premium seating. We are excited to announce that this season the Ticket Office is allowing us to buy blocks in the Club Level Premium seats (Sections 101-104, 110-113 (CLUB LEVEL)). The Club Level Premium seats are on the visitor side (the new alumni area) under the upper deck; they include a reserved seat (not a bench), have shade, and premium access, but also beer/beverages and snacks are included with the seats. These tickets are coming through the Eagle Fund donations, Season Ticket allocations of several Theta Kappa alumni, and the Ticket Office, so we could secure these premium seats for our alumni. If you want other areas or seating, please contact the ticket office directly.

 

We have tickets available through a group reservation:

• Beer Garden Tickets (Section 101) are $100.
• Premium Tickets (Section E, Alumni Side) are $35.

 

To get these seats you need to order through Sigma Nu or RSVP for Homecoming as soon as possible - they are $100/seat, so submit your request via text. You can text your ticket orders to 404-375-9249 (Geddy, 219).

 

 

Please note: Only Theta Kappa alumni need to RSVP NO; parents, collegiates,

and friends do not need to. Alumni, Parents, & Friends should RSVP YES if they plan to attend.
