Sigma Nu - Theta Kappa

 

Welcome Parents!

 

Hi there! My name is Davis Nims, from Dunwoody, GA, and I am the Parents' Program & Weekend Chairman (our Sentinel too!) for the Theta Kappa Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity. I am excited to take on my first leadership position with the chapter.

 

I am planning the Parents' Program and most of the dates and activities are set which we want you all to attend. You can come down for the weekend or just the day - I know many parents from the Atlanta area will likely stay overnight and come both nights, but some may just make a day trip - others will stay longer. We have sent out emails and letters for the Spring weekend, which is April 17-19, 2015. Click here to register or to RSVP, if you haven't already for Parents' Program and access to our website.

 

Please suggest things you would like to do at events, take a look around our website, and register for our website, so you can keep up with your son and his fraternity experience. You can also link to my profile, contact information, or anyone on the committee below.

 

On our website we have setup an area for parents to meet & connect with each other, upload files and photos (please no embarassing baby pictures), register for activities, keep up with what we are doing, and meet our alumni & advisors, so we encourage you to join, register, and participate. We consider you as much a part of the fraternity as we are!

 

Also keep in mind we plan for two major activities for parents: 1) a casual "Fall Tailgate" on a game weekend usually coinciding with GSU Family Weekend, and 2) a more formal "Spring Parents' Weekend" which will have a banquet dinner and awards presentations for our members. We are finalizing the dates for both and by registering for the site you will find out as soon as we finalize it.
