The 55th Anniversary of our beloved Theta Kappa Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity is coming soon, so save the date! It will be the weekend of May 16-18, 2025, and will be held in the Atlanta area. The date is close to our actual anniversary date, but it is after graduation, so alumni and collegiates can participate.
Details with be released soon, but for now we are planning activities for Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening – all in the Atlanta area, so it is closer for most.

On November 19, 2024, the Theta Kappa Alumni Chapter held its annual meeting virtually via Zoom. This meeting is typically held at Homecoming, but Hurricane Helene forced us to reschedule many fall events. Based on this, it was felt that an online meeting would be the best way to go, and it may be our future strategy as well.
Theta Kappa held its 11th Commander’s Diner on Sat., Jan. 18, 2025, at The Capital Grille in Atlanta (Buckhead). We honored Mac Broome, ΘΚ 1102, our 55th commander. We held a Leadership Retreat earlier on Satuday. Go to:
Once again, we are asking for your help in identifying men of good character that will be entering, transferring into or already enrolled at Georgia Southern. We all know of kids going to GSU, but it’s the Sigma Nu man that we are looking for; not guys along for the ride, but young men that will embrace and live out the values of Sigma Nu.
The right man will understand there is a balance between fun & fraternity. The right man will see the leadership & personal growth opportunities offered through Sigma Nu. Finally, the right man will embrace the heritage of Theta Kappa, understand his place in this legacy and finish his days at GSU having left the chapter stronger.

In November 2023, our Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) transitioned to a new generation of advisors. The new AAB boasts an experience level of 9 past commanders, 2 past treasurers, 5 past Recruitment Chairman and host of other skills to support our collegiate chapter.
